This poll from gallup.com shows the views of the healthcare law from the different
Party Identification.

Views of Healthcare Law, by Political Party Affiliation, November 2010
79 percent of the Republican people think that the law goes too far, while 11 percent of the Democrats
think it goes to far.  On the other side 46 percent of the Democrats think that the law does not go far
enough and 12 percent of the Republicans think it does not go far enough.  The independents are pretty
much right in the middle for all of the questions asked, which probably could be expected.

Tea Party Support

This poll from gallup.com has a poll of people who support the Tea Party Movement, Oppose the Tea Party Movement, or neither.

The poll has a one percent lead for the non supporters of the tea party movement at a twenty-seven to twenty-six percent.  What I question is where is the neither line?

Are You Satisfied by the Way Candidates have Conducted Campaigns?

Here is a poll from gallup.com showing the satisfaction rates of the way candidates conducted their campaigns.

Each year since about 2002 the satisfaction has gone down.  It is at the lowest point this year, since the graph started.  I think that a lot of the way people feel is that there are too many ways that each candidate is getting to you, such as TV, radio, mail, phone, even people handing out brochures in the street.

Approval of Leadership in the Middle East and Africa

Here is a chart from gallup.com showing the approval of the U.S. leadership in the Middle East and North Africa.

In every country except for Iraq, the approval rating went up from 2008 to 2009, but then in 2010, the approval ratings went down in everything.  It is not very good seeing the approval rating of your own country going down throughout the world.

Satisfaction with the United States

According to Gallup.com People are not satisfied with the way things are going in the United States right now.

As you can see, the satisfaction has gone up since about 2008, but it has not been this low since 1992, and 1980.  I think that it will continue to be this low until the recession starts to go away.

It seems that Independents change their minds from election to election.

It seems that when a Republican was in office the Independents had more strong views towards the Democrats, and now that a Democrat is in office it seems that the views toward the Democrats are changing to views toward the Republican side of things.

Here is a poll from gallup.com showing the percentage of voters by race for congress.

This is interesting because the black voters are voting the most for the democrats in congress, followed by the Hispanics, and the whites are voting mostly for the republicans.  The Hispanics have dropped their support by almost 20 points in the last two months while the blacks, and the whites have stayed about the same.
